Professionals and Companies File - Switzerland

The professionals and companies file of Switzerland is available, via direct delivery or through our software. It covers the 26 cantons, from Geneva to St. Gallen, without duplicates.

Each record includes the address and phone number, and where applicable, fax, email, website, activity sector, and company specialty, along with any opposition to solicitation: allowing targeting by sector, canton, or language.

What is this file used for

Here’s what our clients do with it. The list is not exhaustive; it gives an idea of the uses.

Commercial prospecting

You sell a service to businesses - accounting, IT, security, cleaning, consulting, supplies - and want to cover a canton or all of Switzerland, sector by sector, with the phone and email of each company.

Fine sector targeting

Activity categories allow you to focus only on cafes and restaurants, medical offices, hair salons, architecture firms, garages, fiduciaries, or any other activity. The specialty, written by the company itself, further clarifies what they do.

Regional language targeting

Switzerland speaks multiple languages. Each record indicates the language of its region: you can target only French-speaking Switzerland, German-speaking Switzerland, or Ticino, and communicate in each region’s language.

Developing a network of partners or resellers

Identify players in a specific sector, measure their distribution by canton and city, and contact them individually.

Market research and competitive intelligence

Understand the actual composition of a sector in Switzerland: who is present, in which canton, and in which city. Useful before establishing or launching an offer.

What a record contains

The identification data are masked below with dots. They are, of course, complete in the delivered file.

Some records only include fax, email, website, category, or specialty; others remain empty. The language corresponds to the region: the official language(s) of the canton, or the language of the record if known.

• canton, city, or postal code
• region: French-speaking Switzerland, large region, language
• contact type: landline, mobile, fax, email, website

What the law says in Switzerland

Each record indicates, for its phone, fax, and email, whether the company has requested not to receive advertising: "Opposition to solicitation (*)", or "No opposition reported".

The federal law against unfair competition prohibits soliciting a contact who has made this request, unless there is an existing business relationship (art. 3, al. 1, let. u LCD). The advertising call is made by displaying a published number, which you are authorized to use (let. v). Mass sending of promotional emails, SMS, or faxes requires prior consent from the recipient, identification of the sender, and an easy way to oppose it (let. o).

If you are calling from France, your own regulations also apply to your campaigns. We recommend verifying them before starting.
